A novel soybean variety, designated XB32AC13 is provided. Also provided are the seeds of soybean variety XB32AC13, cells from soybean variety XB32AC13, plants of soybean XB32AC13, and plant parts of soybean variety XB32AC13. Methods provided include producing a soybean plant by crossing soybean variety XB32AC13 with another soybean plant, methods for introgressing a transgenic trait, a mutant trait, and/or a native trait into soybean variety XB32AC13, methods for producing other soybean varieties or plant parts derived from soybean variety XB32AC13, and methods of characterizing soybean variety XB32AC13. Soybean seed, cells, plants, germplasm, breeding lines, varieties, and plant parts produced by these methods and/or derived from soybean variety XB32AC13 are further provided.
A plant, a plant part, or a seed of soybean variety XB32AC13, representative seed of said soybean variety XB32AC13 having been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-13438.
A soybean seed obtained by introducing a transgene into soybean variety XB32AC13, wherein a plant grown from said seed comprises all the physiological and morphological characteristics of soybean variety XB32AC13.
A soybean plant, or a part thereof, expressing all the physiological and morphological characteristics of soybean variety XB32AC13, representative seed of said soybean variety XB32AC13 having been deposited under ATCC Accession Number PTA-13438.
A method comprising isolating nucleic acids from a plant, a plant part, or a seed of soybean variety XB32AC13, analyzing said nucleic acids to produce data, and recording the data for XB32AC13.

This invention relates generally to the field of soybean breeding, specifically relating to a soybean variety designated XB32AC13.
The present invention relates to a new and distinctive soybean variety designated XB32AC13, which has been the result of years of careful breeding and selection in a comprehensive soybean breeding program. There are numerous steps in the development of any novel, desirable soybean variety. Plant breeding begins with the analysis and definition of problems and weaknesses of the current germplasm, the establishment of program goals, and the definition of specific breeding objectives. The next step is selection of germplasm that possess the traits to meet the program goals. The breeder's goal is to combine in a single variety an improved combination of desirable traits from the parental germplasm. These important traits may include, but are not limited to: higher seed yield, resistance to diseases and/or insects, tolerance to drought and/or heat, altered fatty acid profile(s), abiotic stress tolerance, improvements in compositional traits, and better agronomic characteristics.
These product development processes, which lead to the final step of marketing and distribution, can take from six to twelve years from the time the first cross is made until the finished seed is delivered to the farmer for planting. Therefore, development of new varieties is a time-consuming process that requires precise planning, efficient use of resources, and a minimum of changes in direction.
Soybean variety XB32AC13 has shown uniformity and stability for all traits, as described in the following variety description information. Soybean variety XB32AC13 was developed from a cross of 93M61 with RJS34001. Variety XB32AC13 is an F3-derived line which was advanced to the F3 generation by modified single-seed descent. It has been self-pollinated a sufficient number of generations, with careful attention to uniformity of plant type to ensure a sufficient level of homozygosity and phenotypic stability. The variety has been increased with continued observation for uniformity. No variant traits have been observed or are expected.
A variety description of soybean variety XB32AC13 is provided in Table 1. Traits reported are average values for all locations and years or samples measured. Preliminary scores are reported as double digits, for example ‘55’ indicates a preliminary score of 5 on the scale of 1 to 9.
Soybean variety XB32AC13, being substantially homozygous, can be reproduced by planting seeds of the variety, growing the resulting soybean plants under self-pollinating or sib-pollinating conditions, and harvesting the resulting seed, using techniques familiar to the agricultural arts. Development of soybean variety XB32AC13 is shown in the breeding history summary in Table 4.
