Abstract
Antimicrobial compositions based upon stabilized angiogenin compositions also contain osteopontin and antimicrobial proteins such as lactoperoxidase (LPO), myeloperoxidase (MPO), salivary peroxidase (SPO) and lysozyme.

An antimicrobial composition comprising osteopontin, an isolated angiogenin non-covalently complexed to lactoferrin and at least one antimicrobial protein selected from the group consisting of myeloperoxidase (MPO), salivary peroxidase (SPO) and lysozyme.
