Abstract
The present invention relates, in part, to heat transfer and refrigerant compositions and methods that include HFC-32; HFO-1234ze and HFC-125.
Claims18
A heat transfer composition comprising:
- (a) from about 60% to about 70% by weight of HFC-32;
- (b) from about 20% to about 40% by weight of HFO-1234ze;
- and
- (c) from greater than about 0% to about 10% by weight of HFC-125, provided that the amount of component (c) is effective to improve one or more of glide of the composition;
- heating capacity of the composition, burning velocity of the composition;
- and/or hazard value of the composition.

A refrigerant composition comprising:
- (a) from about 60% to about 70% by weight of HFC-32;
- (b) from about 20% to about 40% by weight of HFO-1234ze;
- and
- (c) from greater than about 0% to about 10% by weight of HFC-125, provided that the amount of component (c) is effective to improve one or more of glide of the composition;
- heating capacity of the composition, particularly at low temperature conditions;
- burning velocity of the composition;
- and/or hazard value of the composition.
