Abstract
A bowl liner for a mixing bowl of a stand mixer includes a shell and a rim secured an upper end of the shell. The shell is sized to be received in the mixing bowl, and is formed from an elastomeric material. The shell has a mixing chamber defined therein. The rim includes an outer perimeter surface that has a keyed surface section to locate the liner relative to the stand mixer.
Claims20
A storage lid for a mixing bowl liner comprising:
- a body including a recessed inner portion and an annular flange that extends outward from the recessed inner portion;
- a lid abutment wall extending substantially orthogonally from the body and including a peripheral engagement protrusion;
- an outwardly extending tab having a lid offset defining a lid gripping ridge;
- and
- a peripheral lip that extends around an outer perimeter of the storage lid, wherein the planar extent of the peripheral lip is substantially coplanar with the planar extent of the lid offset, and wherein the lid gripping ridge is disposed between the peripheral lip and the lid offset such that peripheral lip and lid offset remain distal from one another.

A mixing bowl assembly comprising:
- a bowl;
- a liner configured to be closely received in the bowl, the liner comprising:
- a bottom wall;
- a side wall integrally formed with the bottom wall, the side wall including an inner surface, an outer surface, and an upper edge;
- a first securing formation disposed on the inner surface proximate the upper edge;
- and
- a lid comprising:
- a body including a recessed inner portion and an annular flange that extends about the recessed inner portion;
- a lid abutment wall disposed outward from and substantially orthogonal to the body and including a second securing formation configured for removable engagement with the first securing formation;
- and
- an inner wall that extends substantially orthogonally and downward from the annular flange and terminates at a bottom channel wall extending outward from the inner wall to the lid abutment wall, wherein the inner wall, the bottom channel wall, and the lid abutment wall define an annular channel, wherein the bottom channel wall is positioned between the inner wall and the lid abutment wall, and wherein the inner wall and the lid abutment wall each descend to the bottom channel wall.

A mixing bowl assembly comprising:
- a bowl;
- a liner configured to be closely received in the bowl, the liner comprising:
- a bottom wall;
- a side wall integrally formed with the bottom wall, the side wall including an inner surface, an outer surface, and an upper edge, wherein the inner surface and the outer surface each descend from the upper edge in opposing directions;
- a first securing formation disposed on the outer surface proximate the upper edge;
- and
- a lid comprising:
- a body including a recessed inner portion and an annular flange that extends about the recessed inner portion;
- and
- a lid abutment wall extending downward from and substantially orthogonal to the body and including a second securing formation configured for removable engagement with the outer surface of the side wall proximate the first securing formation.
