Method of transmitting data for reducing interference in hierarchical cell structure

A method of transmitting data for reducing interference in a hierarchical cell structure comprising a macro base station (BS) providing multi carriers and a femto BS providing a single carrier, the method comprising:

• scanning a channel of an interfered carrier to acquire channel state information and neighbor femto BS information only when interference with the femto BS occurs;
• transmitting a channel measurement report based on the scanning, the channel measurement report comprising the channel state information and the neighbor femto BS information to the macro BS;
• receiving carrier change information based on the channel measurement report from the macro BS, the carrier change information indicating change of the interfered carrier to a changed carrier;
• and
• transmitting data through the changed carrier.
