Abstract
A novel maize variety designated PH1KTF and seed, plants and plant parts thereof. Methods for producing a maize plant that comprise crossing maize variety PH1KTF with another maize plant. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into PH1KTF through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby. Hybrid maize seed, plant or plant part produced by crossing the variety PH1KTF or a locus conversion of PH1KTF with another maize variety.
Claims17
A seed, plant, plant part, or cell of inbred maize variety PH1KTF, representative seed of said variety having been deposited under ATCC accession number PTA-120356.
A converted seed, converted plant, plant part, or cell of inbred maize variety PH1KTF, representative seed of said variety having been deposited under ATCC accession number PTA-120356, further comprising a locus conversion, wherein (i) the converted seed produces a plant which has otherwise all of the morphological and physiological characteristics of maize variety PH1KTF listed in Table 1 when grown under the same environmental conditions;
- (ii) the converted plant produces a plant which has otherwise all the morphological and physiological characteristics of maize variety PH1KTF listed in Table 1 when grown under the same environmental conditions;
- and (iii) the plant part or plant cell is obtained from the converted seed or plant.
A plant comprising a single locus conversion introduced into maize variety PH1M6A, or a selfed progeny thereof, wherein the single locus was introduced into maize variety PH1M6A by backcrossing or genetic transformation, wherein a sample of seed of maize variety PH1M6A has been deposited under ATCC Accession No. PTA-120356 and wherein the plant comprises the single locus conversion and otherwise comprises essentially all the physiological and morphological characteristics of maize variety PH1M6A.
