Abstract
This invention includes a wettable biomedical device containing a high molecular weight hydrophilic polymer and a hydroxyl-functionalized silicone-containing monomer.
Claims59
A biomedical device formed from a reaction mixture comprising about 3 to about 15% weight of high molecular weight hydrophilic polymer and about 20 to about 70% weight of hydroxyl-functionalized silicone-containing monomer without at least one silicone containing macromer having hydroxyl functionality.
A silicone hydrogel formed from a reaction mixture comprising about 3% weight to about 15% weight high molecular weight hydrophilic polymer and about 20 to about 70% weight hydroxyl-functionalized silicone-containing monomer.
