Operation of casing valves system for selective well stimulation and control

A method of selectively stimulating a subterranean formation, the method comprising the steps of:

• providing first and second wellbores intersecting the formation;
• positioning a first tubular string in one of the first and second wellbores, the first tubular string including multiple spaced apart first valves operable to selectively permit and prevent fluid flow between an interior and an exterior of the first tubular string;
• and
• for each of multiple sets of one or more intervals of the formation, stimulating the interval set by opening a corresponding one of the first valves and closing the remainder of the first valves, flowing a stimulation fluid into the interval set, and in response receiving a formation fluid from the interval set into the second wellbore.

A method of selectively stimulating a subterranean formation, the method comprising the steps of:

• positioning a first tubular string in a first wellbore intersecting the formation, the first tubular string including multiple spaced apart first valves operable to selectively permit and prevent fluid flow between an interior and an exterior of the first tubular string;
• positioning a second tubular string in a second wellbore intersecting the formation, the second tubular string including multiple spaced apart second valves operable to selectively permit and prevent fluid flow between an interior and an exterior of the second tubular string;
• and
• for each of multiple sets of one or more intervals of the formation, stimulating the interval set by opening a corresponding one of the first valves and closing the remainder of the first valves, flowing a stimulation fluid from the interior of the first tubular string and into the interval set, opening a corresponding one of the second valves, and in response receiving a formation fluid from the interval set into the interior of the second tubular string.
