Abstract
The invention relates to organic semiconductive polymers comprising a new backbone system, monomers for the preparation of such polymers, methods for the preparation of such polymers and the use of such polymers in organic optoelectronic devices.
Claims18
A polymer comprising optionally substituted first repeat units of formula (I):
- wherein
- * indicates the position that formula (I) is bonded to the polymer chain,
- wherein R1, R2, R3 and R4 are selected from alkyl, alkyloxy, aryl, aryloxy, heteroaryl or heteroaryloxy groups, and R1 and R2 and/or R3 and R4 may be linked to form a monocyclic or polycyclic, aliphatic or aromatic ring system, provided that at least one of R1, R2, R3 and R4 is an aryl group.
