Abstract
Recombinant vectors comprise simian adenovirus A1321 (SAdV-A1321), SAdV-A1325, SAdV-A1295, SAdV-A1309, SAdV-A1316, and/or SAdV-A1322 sequences and a heterologous gene under the control of regulatory sequences. A cell line which expresses simian adenovirus SAdV-A1321, SAdV-A1325, SAdV-A1295, SAdV-A1309, SAdV-A1316, and/or SAdV-A1322 gene(s) is also disclosed. Methods of using the vectors and cell lines are provided.
Claims10
An adenovirus having a capsid comprising a hexon protein, a penton protein, and a fiber protein, wherein said hexon protein is the hexon protein of SAdV-A1309 with the amino acids 1 to 939 of SEQ ID NO:
- 96, and said fiber protein is the fiber protein of SAdV-A1309 with the amino acids 1 to 425 of SEQ ID NO:
- 106;
- said capsid encapsidating a heterologous nucleic acid comprising a gene operably linked to expression control sequences which direct transcription, translation, and/or expression thereof in a host cell.
A vector comprising at least one simian adenovirus nucleic acid sequence selected from the group consisting of:
- (a) the open reading frame for the penton of SAdV-A1309, nucleotides 13897 to 15516 of SEQ ID NO:
- 86;
- (b) the open reading frame for the hexon of SAdV-A1309, nucleotides 18348 to 21164 of SEQ ID NO:
- 86;
- and
- (c) the open reading frame for the fiber protein of SAdV-A1309, nucleotides 32137 to 33411 of SEQ ID NO:
- 86;
- said vector further comprising a heterologous gene operably linked to expression control sequences.
