System-on-chip and data arbitration method thereof

An arbitration method of an interconnector transferring a plurality of response data provided from a plurality of slaves to a master, the arbitration method comprising:

• selecting one of a plurality of arbitration modes based on operation characteristics of the master;
• storing the response data in a reorder buffer;
• controlling an output order of the response data stored in the reorder buffer according to the selected arbitration mode;
• and
• transferring the response data stored in the reorder buffer according to the output order.

A system-on-a-chip semiconductor device comprising:

• a first master configured to issue a request;
• a first slave interface configured to be dedicated to the first master;
• a plurality of master interfaces;
• and
• a bus configured to arbitrate data from the plurality of master interfaces to the first slave interface, wherein the first slave interface is configured to supply the data to the first master based on operation characteristics of the first master,
• wherein the first slave interface includes:
• a reorder buffer for storing the data, wherein the reorder buffer includes a plurality of buffer lines;
• a control logic for determining an output order of the data stored in the reorder buffer based on operation characteristics of the first master;
• and
• a selector for selecting one of the plurality of buffer lines.
