Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a method for making the sheet-shaped heat and light source. An array of carbon nanotubes on a substrate is provided. A carbon nanotube film is formed by pressing the array of carbon nanotubes. A first electrode and a second electrode are electrically connected with the carbon nanotube film. Furthermore, a method for heating an object is related.

A method for making a sheet-shaped heat and light source, the method comprising:
- providing an array of carbon nanotubes on a substrate;
- forming a carbon nanotube film by pressing the array of carbon nanotubes;
- and
- electrically connecting a first electrode and a second electrode with the carbon nanotube film.

A method for making a sheet-shaped heat and light source, the method comprising:
- providing an array of carbon nanotubes on a substrate, wherein the array of carbon nanotubes comprises a plurality of carbon nanotubes parallel to each other and approximately perpendicular to a surface of the substrate;
- forming a free-standing carbon nanotube film by pressing the array of carbon nanotubes;
- and
- electrically connecting a first electrode and a second electrode with the carbon nanotube film.
