Automatic management of configuration parameters and parameter management engine

A computer program product comprising a non-transitory computer readable medium having a computer readable program stored therein, wherein the computer readable program, when executed on a computing device, causes the computing device to:

• generate service instances of computing systems according to associated configuration parameter sets and respective corresponding configuration parameter values determine configuration parameter value changes in the configuration parameter sets for each generated service instance of the computing systems, compare the configuration parameter value changes for each generated service instance with a first subset configuration parameter values and with a second subset configuration parameter values, and propagate the determined configuration parameter value changes in one service instance to another service instance according to a definition of rules for mapping configuration parameters and their values between second subsets of configuration parameters.
