Abstract
An online reputation assessment of an individual is performed. A reputation score is determined based on the performed online reputation assessment. The reputation score is provided as output. In some cases, the reputation score is provided to an entity that is not the individual, for example, based on the receipt of an authorization from the individual to disclose the score to the entity.

A system, comprising:
- a processor configured to:
- perform an online reputation assessment of an individual based at least in part on a multi-dimensional coding of at least one result potentially associated with the individual, wherein a first dimension of the multi-dimensional coding that is different from a second dimension of the multi-dimensional coding is associated with one of:
- a trustworthiness of a source of the at least one result,
- a topical area of the at least one result, and
- a biographical area of the at least one result;
- determine a reputation score based on the performed online reputation assessment;
- and
- provide the reputation score as output;
- and
- a memory coupled to the processor and configured to provide the processor with instructions.

- a topical area of the at least one result, and

- determining, using a processor, a reputation score based on the performed online reputation assessment;

- providing the reputation score as output.
