Method and user equipment for transmitting multiple A/N information

A user equipment (UE), comprising:

• a module, configured to determine reserved resources;
• a module, configured to determine acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement (A/N) information that needs to be transmitted;
• a module, configured to jointly select N transmission resources out of the reserved resources and at least one modulation symbol according to a number of the reserved resources and according to the A/N information that needs to be transmitted such that the A/N information is mapped to a selection of the selected N transmission resources and a selection of the at least one modulation symbol, wherein N is an integer greater than or equal to 2;
• and
• a module, configured to transmit the at least one modulation symbol using the transmission resources.

A user equipment (UE), comprising at least one digital microprocessor configured to:

• determine reserved resources;
• determine acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement (A/N) information that needs to be transmitted;
• select N transmission resources out of the reserved resources and at least one modulation symbol according to a number of the reserved resources and according to the A/N information that needs to be transmitted such that the A/N information is mapped to a selection of the selected N transmission resources and a selection of the at least one modulation symbol, wherein N is an integer greater than or equal to 2;
• and
• transmit the at least one modulation symbol using the transmission resources.

A chip which is used in a user equipment (UE), comprising:

• a module, configured to determine reserved resources;
• a module, configured to determine acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement (A/N) information that needs to be transmitted;
• a module, configured to jointly select N transmission resources out of the reserved resources and at least one modulation symbol according to a number of the reserved resources and according to the A/N information that needs to be transmitted such that the A/N information is mapped to a selection of the selected N transmission resources and a selection of the at least one modulation symbol, wherein N is an integer greater than or equal to 2;
• and
• a module, configured to transmit the at least one modulation symbol using the transmission resources.

A wireless communication system comprising a Base Station (BS) in communication with a user equipment (UE), wherein

• the BS is configured to send a data block and control information related to the data block to the UE;
• and
• the UE is configured to:
• detect the data block and the control information;
• determine reserved resources;
• determine acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement (A/N) information that needs to be transmitted;
• select N transmission resources out of the reserved resources and at least one modulation symbol according to a number of the reserved resources and according to the A/N information that needs to be transmitted such that the A/N information is mapped to a selection of the selected N transmission resources and a selection of the at least one modulation symbol, wherein N is an integer greater than or equal to 2;
• and
• transmit the at least one modulation symbol to the BS using the transmission resources.
