Image processing device and image processing method for reducing image degradation

An image processing method, comprising:

• a receiving step of receiving document information and additional information;
• an intermediate data generation step of generating intermediate data of the document information for generating a raster image from the received document information;
• a step of storing the generated intermediate data into a first buffer of the document information;
• and
• a raster image generation step of generating a raster image from the intermediate data of the document information in the first buffer, storing the raster image from the intermediate data of the document information into a second buffer, and deleting the intermediate data of the document information from the first buffer, in a case where the received additional information includes a command to draw a special pattern.

A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium storing a program that when executed causes a computer to perform a method comprising:

• a receiving step of receiving document information and additional information;
• an intermediate data generation step of generating intermediate data of the document information for generating a raster image from the received document information;
• a step of storing the generated intermediate data into a first buffer of the document information;
• and
• a raster image generation step of generating a raster image from the intermediate data of the document information in the first buffer, storing the raster image from the intermediate data of the document information into a second buffer, and deleting the intermediate data of the document information from the first buffer, in a case where the received additional information includes a command to draw a special pattern.
