Multiple use education and entertainment device for young users

A system for educational or entertainment uses, the system comprising:

• a wireless module for a base computer;
• at least one device comprising:
• a data processor;
• data storage coupled to said data processor;
• a wireless networking module for communicating with said base computer through said wireless module, said wireless networking module being coupled to said data processor;
• a flat touch screen user interface for receiving user input, said touch screen being coupled to said data processor;
• and
• a housing for containing said data processor, data storage, and said wireless networking module, said housing being constructed and arranged such that said device is stackable with other similar devices, said housing having a plurality of sides;
• wherein for each of said device,
• said flat touch screen forms a touch screen side of said plurality of sides of said housing;
• and
• said housing is vertically stackable with other similar devices having at least one touch screen user interface using non-touch screen sides of said plurality of sides;
• said device is for use by children;
• said device is hardened against at least one of:
• being throwing against hard surfaces, dropped from heights, and exposure to liquids.
