Abstract
The invention relates to novel tricyclic benzo[4,5]thieno-[2,3-d]pyrimidine-4-yl-amin derivatives, as well as their pharmaceutically acceptable salts. The subject of the invention too the process for producing the compounds and their use as a pharmaceutically active agent and as pharmaceutical compositions for prophylaxis and/or treatment of proliferative diseases such as cancer.

A compound of the formula (I) or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof:
- wherein:
- A is methylene (CH2) or methylidene (CH),
- R1:
- monosubstituted phenyl, wherein a substituent is selected from the group of consisting of fluoro, chloro, bromo, trifluoromethyl, NH2, CN, methoxy, nitro, and OH,
- R2:
- hydrogen, alkyl or cycloalkyl, with the proviso that R2 is not hydrogen when the phenyl substituent of R1 is 3- or 4-trifluoromethyl, 3- or 4-fluoro, 4-chloro, 4-bromo or 4-methoxy, and A is methylene.
