Abstract
The invention relates to the use of domperidone or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof at low doses to prevent and/or treat a disease associated with an alteration of the immune response such as Leishmaniosis.
Claims16
A method of treatment of leishmaniosis in a mammal or decreasing the likelihood of the clinical symptoms of leishmaniosis in a mammal, comprising administering to a mammal in need thereof domperidone or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof at a daily dose of domperidone of from 0.2 mg/kg/day to 1 mg/kg/day.
