Abstract
A detergent composition having at least two components. The first component is from 8 to 50 wt % surfactants. The second component is from 0.05 to 4 wt % of a polymer which has polymerized residues of 40 to 80 wt % C1-C4 alkyl acrylates, 20 to 52 wt % C3-C6 carboxylic acid monomers, and 0 to 10 wt % of monomers having an alkyl group having at least ten carbon atoms.
Claims12
A liquid laundry detergent composition comprising:
- (a) from 8 to 50 wt % surfactants;
- and (b) from 0.05 to 4 wt % of at least one polymer having Mw from 15,000 to 170,000 and comprising polymerized residues of:
- (i) 40 to 80 wt % C1-C4 alkyl acrylates;
- wherein at least 4/10 by weight of the C1-C4 alkyl acrylates is ethyl acrylate;
- (ii) 20 to 52 wt % C3-C6 carboxylic acid monomers;
- and (iii) 0 to 10 wt % of monomers having an alkyl group having at least ten carbon atoms;
- wherein said at least one polymer is not cationically modified.
