Abstract
The present invention relates to a resin composition for protective layer transfer sheets which includes a polyester resin produced by polycondensing a polyhydric alcohol component containing a hydrogenated bisphenol A in an amount of 30 mol % or more and a polycarboxylic acid component containing a benzenedicarboxylic acid in an amount of 50 mol % or more.
Claims6
A protective layer transfer sheet comprising a substrate having a layer to be bonded to a surface of a thermal transfer image-receiving sheet, wherein a resin composition for protective layer transfer sheets is incorporated in the layer and comprises a polyester resin produced by polycondensing a polyhydric alcohol component containing a hydrogenated bisphenol A in an amount of 30 mol % or more and a polycarboxylic acid component containing a benzenedicarboxylic acid in an amount of 50 mol % or more.
A print comprising a printed surface on which images are formed by a thermal transfer printing method, and a protective layer transferred and formed on the printed surface by using a protective layer transfer sheet comprising a substrate having a layer to be bonded to a surface of a thermal transfer image-receiving sheet, wherein a resin composition for protective layer transfer sheets is incorporated in the layer and comprises a polyester resin produced by polycondensing a polyhydric alcohol component containing a hydrogenated bisphenol A in an amount of 30 mol % or more and a polycarboxylic acid component containing a benzenedicarboxylic acid in an amount of 50 mol % or more.
