Abstract
The present compositions and methods relate to an endo-β-mannanase cloned from Bacillus agaradhaerens, polynucleotides encoding the endo-β-mannanase, and methods of use thereof. Formulations containing the endo-β-mannanase are highly suitable for use as detergents.
Claims19
A recombinant polypeptide comprising a catalytic domain of an endo-β-mannanase, wherein the catalytic domain is at least 95% identical to the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:10 or a mature form of an endo-β-mannanase, wherein the mature form is at least 90% identical to the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:7.
