Abstract
A carrier for developing an electrostatic charge image comprising a core material and a coating resin layer that covers the core material, wherein the core material is a ferrite particle having a Brunauer-Emmitt-Teller (BET) specific surface area of from about 0.12 m2/g to about 0.20 m2/g, and having a fluidity of from about 26 sec/50 g to about 30 sec/50 g.

A developer for developing an electrostatic charge image, the developer comprising:
- a toner, wherein the toner comprises a binder resin having a softening temperature (Tm) of from about 80° C. to about 100° C.;
- and
- a carrier, wherein the carrier comprises
- ferrite particles having a Brunauer-Emmitt-Teller (BET) specific surface area of from about 0.12 m2/g to about 0.20 m2/g, and a fluidity of from about 26 sec/50 g to about 30 sec/50 g, and
- a coating resin layer that covers the ferrite particles and comprises an acrylic resin having a cyclohexyl group, the cyclohexyl group being included in the coating resin layer in an amount of about 80% by weight with respect to the acrylic resin.
