Abstract
Monoclonal antibodies that specifically bind to an extracellular domain of human Jagged 1 and inhibit growth of a tumor comprising cancer stem cells are described. Also described is a method of treating cancer that comprises administering a therapeutically effective amount of a monoclonal anti-Jagged 1 antibody.
Claims14
An isolated monoclonal antibody that competes for specific binding to human Jagged 1 with the antibody 64M14.
A monoclonal antibody which is antibody 64M14.
A composition comprising monoclonal antibody 64M14.
A method of inhibiting growth of tumor cells, the method comprising contacting the tumor cells with a monoclonal antibody that competes for specific binding to human Jagged 1 with the antibody 64M14 in an amount effective to inhibit tumor cell growth.
