A de-powdering plant is able to be used downstream of a shredding machine and comprises a first section for processing a primary stream of powder and air arriving from a first exit line from the shredding machine, which comprises a unit for damping powders using humidity connected to an air intake downstream of the shredding machine. The first processing section also comprises a processing unit using active carbons filtration, downstream of the unit for damping powders using humidity, suitable for the adsorption of the volatile organic substances present in a stream of air exiting from the unit for damping powders using humidity. The plant comprises heating means to heat, directly or indirectly, the stream of air saturated with humidity exiting from the unit for damping powders using humidity, before it enters into the processing unit using active carbons filtration.
A de-powdering plant able to be used downstream of a shredding machine and comprising a first processing section for processing a primary stream of powder and air arriving from a first exit line from the shredding machine, which comprises a unit for damping powders using humidity connected to an air intake downstream of the shredding machine, said first processing section also comprising a processing unit using active carbons filtration, downstream of the unit for damping powders using humidity, suitable for the adsorption of the volatile organic substances present in a stream of air exiting from the unit for damping powders using humidity, said plant comprises heating means to heat, directly or indirectly, the stream of air saturated with humidity exiting from the unit for damping powders using humidity, before it enters into the processing unit using active carbons filtration, wherein the processing unit comprises a feed line for air, heated by said heating means, which is fluidically connected to an exit line of the stream of air from the unit for damping powders using humidity, upstream of the processing unit using active carbons filtration, wherein the air from the feed line is mixed with the air from the exit line in order to generate a stream of air with reduced humidity entering the processing unit using active carbons filtration.
A de-powdering method able to be used downstream of a shredding machine and comprising a step of processing a primary stream of powder and air exiting from the shredding machine, which comprises the execution of an operation to damp powders using humidity of air exiting from an air intake downstream of the shredding machine, said step of processing said primary stream also comprising the execution of a processing operation using active carbons filtration subsequent to the operation of damping powders using humidity, suitable for the adsorption of volatile organic substances present in a stream of air deriving from the operation of damping powders using humidity, said method also comprising the execution of a direct or indirect heating operation to heat the stream of air saturated with humidity deriving from the operation of damping powders using humidity, before said stream of air is subjected to the processing operation using active carbons filtration, wherein the operation to heat the stream of saturated air is carried out by mixing a stream of heated air with said stream of air, upstream of the processing operation using active carbons filtration.
