Abstract
There is herein described medical apparatus. More particularly, there is herein described medical apparatus capable of adapting and/or conforming to a non-planar surface on a patient's body.
Claims20
Apparatus for use in therapeutic and cosmetic treatment, the apparatus comprising:
- a casing;
- electronics located within or attached to the casing;
- at least one light source;
- a chassis located within the casing wherein along at least part of or substantially the whole length of the chassis there are channels on at least one or both sides of the chassis which support a flexible electronic substrate;
- and
- wherein the casing and electronic substrate adapt and conform to a non-planar surface.

A method of performing a therapeutic and cosmetic treatment, the method comprising:
- providing a casing;
- providing electronics located within or attached to the casing;
- providing at least one light source;
- a chassis located within the casing wherein along at least part of or substantially the whole length of the chassis there are channels on at least one or both sides of the chassis which support a flexible electronic substrate;
- and
- wherein the casing and electronic substrate adapt and conform to a non-planar surface.
