Contact lenses have design features to enhance translational properties such as dimples and coating treatments.
Claims21
A contact lens, the contact lens comprising:
- a front surface;
- a back surface;
- an optic zone;
- a peripheral zone surrounding the optic zone;
- and
- a plurality of dimples on the back surface of the contact lens in the peripheral zone, the plurality of dimples being arranged along equally spaced radial spokes, with no dimples between adjacent spokes, wherein each spoke includes an equal number of equally spaced dimples.
