Low-profile vacuum tank trailer for transporting flowable material

A tank trailer for transporting a flowable material comprising:

• a vessel having three portions, a front portion, a transitional portion, and a rear portion, wherein the front portion has a first internal diameter, the rear portion has a second internal diameter, and the transitional portion has an third internal diameter in between the sizes of the first and second internal diameters, wherein the rear portion has:
• an inner surface;
• a partition, said partition comprising a first vertical portion and a second horizontal portion;
• the first vertical portion having a first edge that fixedly adjoins a partial portion of the inner surface of said rear portion, and a second edge;
• the second horizontal portion having a front edge, a rear edge, and side edges;
• said side edges fixedly adjoin a substantially horizontal portion of the inner surface of the rear portion, the read edge that fixedly adjoins a rear wall of the rear portion;
• and
• the second edge of first vertical portion fixedly adjoins the front edge of the second horizontal portion;
• a rear suspension fixture fixedly attached to the rear portion of the vessel;
• a rear axle fixedly attached to said suspension;
• a valve for ingress of flowable material communicating with an interior of the vessel;
• an exit valve for egress of flowable material from the interior of the vessel;
• and
• a kingpin fixedly attached for attaching said tank trailer to a truck rig.
