Computer-implemented method, system, and computer program product for telecommunications rating

A computer program product comprising computer readable instructions, which when loaded and run in a computer system, causes the computer system to:

• receive, through a communication interface, an event from a source system for a service, wherein the event is generated by a user;
• store in a memory:
• the event, a guiding point associated with the user, at least one balance associated with the user, and a list of products;
• transform, using a processor in communication with the memory and the communication interface, the event into a normalized event by determining event characteristics,
• determine a guiding point identifier to identify the guiding point associated with the user;
• by using the guiding point identifier, retrieve from the guiding point the list of products operable to guide the normalized event;
• rate the normalized event by calculating and aggregating costs according to the list of products;
• and
• post the costs by updating the at least one balance associated with the user, the guiding point, and/or the service.

A computer-implemented method for telecommunications rating, the method comprising:

• receiving, by a communication interface, an event from a source system for a service, wherein the event is generated by a user;
• storing in a memory:
• the event, a guiding point associated with the user, at least one balance associated with the user, and a list of products;
• transforming, by a processor in communication with the memory and the communication interface, the event into a normalized event by determining event characteristics,
• determining, by the processor, a guiding point identifier to identify the guiding point associated with the user;
• by using the guiding point identifier, retrieving from the guiding point the list of products operable to guide the normalized event;
• rating, by the processor, the normalized event by calculating and aggregating costs according to the list of products;
• and
• posting, by the processor, the costs by updating the at least one balance associated with the user, the guiding point, and/or the service.
