Claims16
A polylactic acid having a terminal-modified structure represented by the following formula (1):
- where in the formula (1),
- R represents a residue of an organic phosphorus compound containing an epoxy group, and
- n represents an integer from 100 to 5000;
- wherein the polylactic acid having a terminal-modified structure is a reaction product of a terminal-unmodified polylactic acid and the organic phosphorus compound, an amount of the organic phosphorus compound being 0.2 to 5 parts by weight with respect to the terminal-unmodified polylactic acid.
A resin composition comprising a polylactic acid having a terminal-modified structure, and an organic phosphorus compound containing an epoxy group, wherein the polylactic acid having a terminal-modified structure is a reaction product of a terminal-unmodified polylactic acid and the organic phosphorus compound, an amount of the organic phosphorus compound being 0.2 to 5 parts by weight with respect to the terminal-unmodified polylactic acid.
