Abstract
A method of bonding a substantially planar sheet material to a corrugated sheet material using an automated process the method characterized by the steps of a) applying adhesive in discrete amounts to the contact points of the corrugated sheet material, and b) holding the sheet materials together until a bond is formed between them.
Claims9
A method of bonding a substantially planar sheet material to a corrugated sheet material using an automated process comprising the steps of:
- a) applying adhesive, at an ambient temperature of from 5° C.-30° C., in discrete droplets to contact points on the corrugated sheet material on a corrugating roller, and
- b) holding the planar sheet material and the corrugated sheet material together on the corrugating roller after brining the planar sheet material and the corrugated sheet material into contact, until a bond is formed between the planar sheet material and the corrugated sheet material.
