Image forming apparatus

An image forming apparatus comprising:

• an image forming unit;
• a sensor;
• a processor;
• and
• a memory storing instructions, when executed by the processor, causing the apparatus to:
• control the image forming unit to form a mark for detecting at least one of positional deviation and density deviation and control the sensor to measure the mark to acquire a degree of deviation;
• receive a user input and acquire a correction value based on the user input;
• control the image forming unit to form an image based on an actual correction value, wherein the actual correction value is determined based on an automatic correction value which is specified based on the acquired degree of deviation and a manual correction value which is the acquired correction value;
• and
• execute a changing process including applying a weight to at least one of the automatic correction value and the manual correction value,
• wherein the image forming unit is controlled to form the mark by using at least the manual correction value, and
• wherein the changing process is executed when the acquired degree of deviation exceeds a predetermined range.

An image forming apparatus comprising:

• an image forming unit;
• a sensor;
• a processor;
• and
• a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the image forming apparatus to:
• control the image forming unit to form a mark for detecting at least one of positional deviation and density deviation and control the sensor to measure the mark to acquire a degree of deviation;
• receive a user input and acquire a correction value based on the user input;
• control the image forming unit to form an image based on an actual correction value, wherein the actual correction value is determined based on an automatic correction value which is specified based on the acquired degree of deviation and a manual correction value which is the acquired correction value;
• and
• receive, through a user input, an instruction to apply a weight to at least one of the automatic correction value and the manual correction value, and execute a changing process including applying a weight to at least one of the automatic correction value and the manual correction value based on the received instruction.
