## Abstract

Provided is a cleaning blade having at least a portion that comes in contact with a member to be cleaned is configured of a member that contains polyurethane rubber, and that has an endothermic peak top temperature obtained by differential scanning calorimetry in a range of from 180° C. to 220° C.

## Claims

### Claim 1

An cleaning blade wherein at least a portion that comes in contact with a member to be cleaned is configured of a member that contains polyurethane rubber, and that has an endothermic peak top temperature obtained by differential scanning calorimetry in a range of from 180° C. to 220° C.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The cleaning blade according to claim 1, wherein the polyurethane rubber contains a hard segment and a soft segment.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The cleaning blade according to claim 2, wherein a ratio of the hard segment to the soft segment “1” in the polyurethane rubber is 1:0.15 to 1:0.3.

### Claim 4 (depends on 2)

The cleaning blade according to claim 2, wherein an average particle size of aggregates of the hard segment is from 4 μm to 20 μm.

### Claim 5 (depends on 4)

The cleaning blade according to claim 4, wherein particle size distribution (standard deviation σ) of the aggregates of the hard segment is equal to or more than 2 μm.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

A cleaning device comprising the cleaning blade according to claim 1.

### Claim 7 (depends on 6)

The cleaning device according to claim 6, wherein the polyurethane rubber contains a hard segment and a soft segment.

### Claim 8 (depends on 7)

The cleaning device according to claim 7, wherein a ratio of the hard segment to the soft segment “1” in the polyurethane rubber is 1:0.15 to 1:0.3.

### Claim 9 (depends on 7)

The cleaning device according to claim 7, wherein an average particle size of aggregates of the hard segment is from 4 μm to 20 μm.

### Claim 10 (depends on 9)

The cleaning device according to claim 9, wherein particle size distribution (standard deviation σ) of the aggregates of the hard segment is equal to or more than 2 μm.

### Claim 11 (depends on 6)

A process cartridge comprising:
the cleaning device according to claim 6,
wherein the process cartridge is detachable from an image forming apparatus.

### Claim 12 (depends on 11)

The process cartridge according to claim 11, wherein the polyurethane rubber contains a hard segment and a soft segment.

### Claim 13 (depends on 12)

The process cartridge according to claim 12, wherein a ratio of the hard segment to the soft segment “1” in the polyurethane rubber is 1:0.15 to 1:0.3.

### Claim 14 (depends on 12)

The process cartridge according to claim 12, wherein an average particle size of aggregates of the hard segment is from 4 μm to 20 μm.

### Claim 15 (depends on 14)

The process cartridge according to claim 14, wherein particle size distribution (standard deviation σ) of the aggregates of the hard segment is equal to or more than 2 μm.

### Claim 16 (depends on 6)

An image forming apparatus comprising:
an image holding member;
a charging device that charges the image holding member;
an electrostatic latent image forming device that forms an electrostatic latent image on a surface of a charged image holding member;
a developing device that develops the electrostatic latent image formed on the surface of the image holding member with toner to form a toner image;
a transfer device that transfers the toner image formed on the image holding member to a recording medium; and
the cleaning device according to claim 6 that brings the cleaning blade into contact with the surface of the image holding member for cleaning after the transfer of the toner image by the transfer device.

### Claim 17 (depends on 16)

The image forming apparatus according to claim 16, wherein the polyurethane rubber contains a hard segment and a soft segment.

### Claim 18 (depends on 17)

The image forming apparatus according to claim 17, wherein a ratio of the hard segment to the soft segment “1” in the polyurethane rubber is 1:0.15 to 1:0.3.

### Claim 19 (depends on 17)

The image forming apparatus according to claim 17, wherein an average particle size of aggregates of the hard segment is from 4 μm to 20 μm.

### Claim 20 (depends on 19)

The image forming apparatus according to claim 19, wherein particle size distribution (standard deviation σ) of the aggregates of the hard segment is equal to or more than 2 μm.
