## Abstract

An electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a conductive substrate; and a single-layer photosensitive layer that is provided on the conductive substrate and includes a binder resin, at least one kind of charge generation material selected from hydroxygallium phthalocyanine pigments and chlorogallium phthalocyanine pigments, a hole transport material represented by Formula (1), and an electron transport material represented by Formula (2):

## Claims

### Claim 1

An electrophotographic photoreceptor comprising:
a conductive substrate; and
a single-layer photosensitive layer that is provided on the conductive substrate and includes a binder resin, at least one kind of charge generation material selected from hydroxygallium phthalocyanine pigments and chlorogallium phthalocyanine pigments, a hole transport material represented by Formula (1), and an electron transport material represented by Formula (2):
wherein in Formula (1), R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, and R6 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group, an alkoxy group, a phenoxy group, a halogen atom, or a phenyl group which may have a substituent selected from a lower alkyl group, an alkoxy group, and a halogen atom; and m and n each independently represent 0 or 1:
wherein in Formula (2), R11, R12, R13, R14, R15, R16, and R17 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, or an aryl group; and R18 represents a linear alkyl group having from 5 to 10 carbon atoms.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The electrophotographic photoreceptor according to claim 1,
wherein a content of the hole transport material is from 10% by weight to 98% by weight with respect to the binder resin.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

The electrophotographic photoreceptor according to claim 1,
wherein a content of the hole transport material is from 60% by weight to 95% by weight with respect to the binder resin.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The electrophotographic photoreceptor according to claim 1,
wherein a content of the hole transport material is from 70% by weight to 90% by weight with respect to the binder resin.

### Claim 5 (depends on 1)

The electrophotographic photoreceptor according to claim 1,
wherein a content of the electron transport material is from 10% by weight to 70% by weight with respect to the binder resin.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The electrophotographic photoreceptor according to claim 1,
wherein a content of the electron transport material is from 15% by weight to 50% by weight with respect to the binder resin.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The electrophotographic photoreceptor according to claim 1,
wherein a content of the electron transport material is from 20% by weight to 40% by weight with respect to the binder resin.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The electrophotographic photoreceptor according to claim 1,
wherein a ratio (hole transport material/electron transport material) of the hole transport material to the electron transport material is from 1 to 9.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The electrophotographic photoreceptor according to claim 1,
wherein a ratio (hole transport material/electron transport material) of the hole transport material to the electron transport material is from 1.5 to 4.

### Claim 10 (depends on 1)

The electrophotographic photoreceptor according to claim 1,
wherein the charge generation material is a V-type hydroxygallium phthalocyanine pigment.

### Claim 11 (depends on 1)

The electrophotographic photoreceptor according to claim 1,
wherein in the hole transport material represented by Formula (1), m and n represent 1.

### Claim 12 (depends on 1)

A process cartridge, which is detachable from an image forming apparatus, comprising:
the electrophotographic photoreceptor according to claim 1.

### Claim 13 (depends on 1)

An image forming apparatus comprising:
the electrophotographic photoreceptor according to claim 1;
a charging unit that charges the electrophotographic photoreceptor;
an electrostatic latent image forming unit that forms an electrostatic latent image on a charged electrophotographic photoreceptor;
a developing unit that accommodates a developer containing a toner and develops the electrostatic latent image, formed on the electrophotographic photoreceptor, using the developer to form a toner image; and
a transfer unit that transfers the toner image onto a transfer medium.
