## Abstract

The present invention is directed to an apparatus that includes a microcurrent delivery device portion and at least one independent sensory cue delivery means. The independent sensory cue delivery means can provide an independent sensory cue selected from the group consisting of vibration, heat, cool, skin irritation, tingling, fragrance or auditory.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A method of indicating to a user that a microcurrent device is functioning by delivering an independent sensory cue selected from the group consisting of vibration, heat, cool, tingling, irritation, prick and combinations thereof, each above a sensory threshold level, wherein said user receives said sensory cue without any action by said user, wherein the independent sensory cue is delivered through a separate electrical impulse.

### Claim 2

A method of indicating to a user that a microcurrent device is present on a user's body by delivering an independent sensory cue selected from the group consisting of vibration, heat, cool, tingling, irritation, prick and combinations thereof, each above a sensory threshold level, wherein said user receives said sensory cue without any action by said user, wherein the independent sensory cue is delivered through a separate electrical impulse.

### Claim 3

A method of indicating to a user that a microcurrent device is not functioning, comprising the step of: delivering an independent sensory cue selected from the group consisting of vibration, heat, cool, tingling, irritation, prick and combinations thereof, each above a sensory threshold level to indicate to the user that the microcurrent device is not functioning.
