## Abstract

In accordance with some embodiments, a plurality of outcomes are generated and used to create a video presentation of representative outcomes. The video presentation is recorded onto a tangible medium (e.g., DVD or CD-ROM) or otherwise provided to a player (e.g., player may access the video presentation online). This allows a player to purchase a video presentation of (e.g., predetermined) outcomes in a jurisdiction in which gambling is legal yet view the presentation at the player's convenience (e.g., from any jurisdiction and at any time). A player who purchases such a video presentation may subsequently redeem it for a redemption value associated therewith.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A gaming system comprising:
at least one printer;
at least one processor; and
at least one memory device which stores a plurality of instructions, which when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to operate with the at least one printer to:
(a) upon an occurrence of a game outcome generation triggering event, randomly determine a game outcome, and
(b) upon an occurrence of a game outcome distribution event, print a ticket for a play of a game, wherein prior to being redeemed, the printed ticket is associated with a specific video representation of the generated game outcome and the randomly determined game outcome is not displayed to any players prior to the play of the game.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

The gaming system of claim 1, wherein the printed ticket includes a bar code encoding the randomly determined outcome.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The gaming system of claim 2, wherein the bar code is associated with the video representation of the randomly determined game outcome.

### Claim 4 (depends on 1)

The gaming system of claim 1, wherein the ticket is printed at a gaming establishment at a first point in time and the video representation of the randomly determined game outcome for the play of the game is displayed to a player at a second, subsequent point in time when the player is remote from the gaming establishment.

### Claim 5 (depends on 4)

The gaming system of claim 4, wherein the video representation of the randomly determined outcome for the play of the game is displayed through a data network.

### Claim 6 (depends on 1)

The gaming system of claim 1, wherein the play of the game includes a slot game, a poker game, a blackjack game, a keno game, a roulette game, and a lottery game.

### Claim 7 (depends on 1)

The gaming system of claim 1, wherein the game outcome generation triggering event occurs independent of any wager placed on any play of any game.

### Claim 8 (depends on 1)

The gaming system of claim 1, wherein the game outcome distribution event occurs is associated with at least one of a promotion and an input of a payment.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

The gaming system of claim 1, wherein the randomly determined game outcome is associated with an award.

### Claim 10 (depends on 9)

The gaming system of claim 9, wherein the award is selected from the group consisting of: a quantity of monetary credits, a quantity of non-monetary credits, a quantity of promotional credits, and a quantity of player tracking points.

### Claim 11 (depends on 1)

The gaming system of claim 1, wherein when executed by the at least one processor, the plurality of instructions cause the at least one processor to: randomly determine a plurality of game outcomes upon the occurrence of the game outcome generation triggering event.

### Claim 12 (depends on 11)

The gaming system of claim 11, wherein the printed ticked is associated with a plurality of the randomly determined game outcomes.

### Claim 13

A method of operating a gaming system, said method comprising:
(a) upon an occurrence of a game outcome generation triggering event, causing at least one processor to execute a plurality of instructions to randomly determine a game outcome, and
(b) upon an occurrence of a game outcome distribution event, causing the at least one processor to execute the plurality of instructions to operate with a printer to print a ticket for a play of a game, wherein prior to being redeemed, the printed ticket is associated with a specific video representation of the generated game outcome and the randomly determined game outcome is not displayed to any players prior to the play of the game.

### Claim 14 (depends on 13)

The method of claim 13, wherein the printed ticket includes a bar code encoding the randomly determined outcome.

### Claim 15 (depends on 14)

The method of claim 14, wherein the bar code is associated with the video representation of the randomly determined game outcome.

### Claim 16 (depends on 13)

The method of claim 13, which includes:
causing the at least one processor to execute the plurality of instructions to operate with the printer to print the ticket at a gaming establishment at a first point in time, and
causing the at least one processor to execute the plurality of instructions to operate with at least one display device to display the video representation of the randomly determined game outcome for the play of the game to a player at a second, subsequent point in time when the player is remote from the gaming establishment.

### Claim 17 (depends on 16)

The method of claim 16, which includes causing the at least one processor to execute the plurality of instructions to operate with the at least one display device to display the video representation of the randomly determined outcome for the play of the game through a data network.

### Claim 18 (depends on 13)

The method of claim 13, wherein the play of the game includes a slot game, a poker game, a blackjack game, a keno game, a roulette game, and a lottery game.

### Claim 19 (depends on 13)

The method of claim 13, wherein the game outcome generation triggering event occurs independent of any wager placed on any play of any game.

### Claim 20 (depends on 13)

The method of claim 13, wherein the game outcome distribution event occurs is associated with at least one of a promotion and an input of a payment.

### Claim 21 (depends on 13)

The method of claim 13, wherein the randomly determined game outcome is associated with an award.

### Claim 22 (depends on 21)
