## Abstract

According to the invention, there is provided seed and plants of the corn variety designated CV931366. The invention thus relates to the plants, seeds and tissue cultures of the variety CV931366, and to methods for producing a corn plant produced by crossing a corn plant of variety CV931366 with itself or with another corn plant, such as a plant of another variety. The invention further relates to corn seeds and plants produced by crossing plants of variety CV931366 with plants of another variety, such as another inbred line. The invention further relates to the inbred and hybrid genetic complements of plants of variety CV931366.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A plant of corn variety CV931366, wherein a sample of seed of corn variety CV931366 has been deposited under ATCC Accession No. PTA-12243.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

A plant part of the plant of claim 1.

### Claim 3 (depends on 2)

The plant part of claim 2, further defined as pollen, an ovule or a cell.

### Claim 4

A seed of corn variety CV931366, wherein a sample of seed of corn variety CV931366 has been deposited under ATCC Accession No. PTA-12243.

### Claim 5 (depends on 4)

The seed of claim 4, further comprising a transgene.

### Claim 6

A corn plant that expresses all of the physiological and morphological characteristics of the corn variety CV931366, wherein a sample of seed of corn variety CV931366 has been deposited under ATCC Accession No. PTA-12243.

### Claim 7

A composition comprising a seed of corn variety CV931366 comprised in plant seed growth media, wherein a sample of seed of corn variety CV931366 has been deposited under ATCC Accession No. PTA-12243.

### Claim 8 (depends on 7)

The composition of claim 7, wherein the growth media is soil or a synthetic cultivation medium.

### Claim 9 (depends on 1)

An F1 hybrid seed produced by crossing a plant of corn variety CV931366 according to claim 1 with a second, distinct corn plant.

### Claim 10 (depends on 9)

The F1 hybrid seed of claim 9, wherein said plant of corn variety CV931366 further comprises a transgene that is inherited by the seed.

### Claim 11 (depends on 9)

An F1 hybrid plant grown from the seed of claim 9.

### Claim 12

A plant produced by introducing a single locus conversion into corn variety CV931366, or a selfed progeny thereof, wherein the single locus was introduced into corn variety CV931366 by backcrossing or genetic transformation and wherein a sample of seed of corn variety CV931366 has been deposited under ATCC Accession No. PTA-12243.

### Claim 13 (depends on 12)

The plant of claim 12, wherein the single locus conversion comprises a transgene.

### Claim 14 (depends on 12)

A seed that produces the plant of claim 12.

### Claim 15 (depends on 14)

The seed of claim 14, wherein the single locus confers a trait selected from the group consisting of male sterility, herbicide tolerance, insect or pest resistance, disease resistance, modified fatty acid metabolism, abiotic stress resistance, altered seed amino acid composition, site-specific genetic recombination, and modified carbohydrate metabolism.

### Claim 16 (depends on 15)

The seed of claim 15, wherein the herbicide tolerance trait is tolerance to an herbicide selected from the group consisting of glyphosate, sulfonylurea, imidazalinone, dicamba, glufosinate, phenoxy proprionic acid, cycloshexone, triazine, benzonitrile, PPO-inhibitor herbicides and broxynil.

### Claim 17

A method of producing a seed of a progeny plant derived from the corn variety CV931366, the method comprising crossing a plant of the corn variety CV931366 with a corn plant of a second variety to produce at least a first seed, wherein a sample of seed of corn variety CV931366 has been deposited under ATCC Accession No. PTA-12243.

### Claim 18 (depends on 17)

The method of claim 17, further comprising the steps of
(a) crossing a plant grown from said seed with itself or a second plant to produce a seed of a progeny plant of a subsequent generation;
(b) growing a progeny plant of a subsequent generation from said seed and crossing the progeny plant of a subsequent generation with itself or a second plant; and
(c) repeating steps (a) and (b) with sufficient inbreeding until a seed of an inbred corn plant derived from the corn variety CV931366 is produced.

### Claim 19 (depends on 18)

The method of claim 18, further comprising crossing said inbred corn plant derived from the corn variety CV931366 with a corn plant of a different genotype to produce seed of a hybrid plant derived from the corn variety CV931366.

### Claim 20 (depends on 11)

A method of producing a commodity plant product, the method comprising obtaining the plant of claim 11 or a part thereof and producing said commodity plant product therefrom.

### Claim 21 (depends on 20)

The method of claim 20, wherein the commodity plant product is grain, starch, seed oil, corn syrup or protein.
