Abstract
The invention provides a process for increasing the crystallinity of at least one solid material which is less than 100% crystalline, comprising applying ultrasound to the substantially dry solid material.

A process for increasing the crystallinity of at least one solid material which is less than 100% crystalline and containing residual solvent, comprising applying ultrasound to the solid material, wherein the solid material is selected from the group consisting of an active pharmaceutical agent, a pharmaceutical excipient, and mixtures of two or more thereof, thereby increasing the crystallinity of said solid material.
