Abstract
The subject matter disclosed herein relates to distribution of media content.
Claims17
A method for use by a computing platform having a processor and a memory, the method comprising:
- providing, using the processor, one or more protected segments of a media content from the memory;
- and
- selectively providing access to at least a portion of said one or more protected segments in response to an access by a user to a gating segment for a duration;
- and
- setting said duration in response to a selection by said user to access said media content segment, wherein said duration is set based on information identifying said user as a paying user.

- a computing platform having a processor and a memory, said processor being adapted to:
- provide one or more protected segments of a media content from said memory;
- and
- selectively provide access to at least a portion of said one or more protected segments in response to an access by a user to a gating segment for a duration;
