Abstract
The present invention relates to a composition comprising probiotic bacteria for the treatment of pathologies associated with alterations of the immune system. In particular, the present invention relates to the use of selected probiotic bacteria for the preparation of a composition for the treatment of allergies, such as atopic dermatitis.

A method of treating atopic dermatitis in a subject affected by atopic dermatitis, the method comprising oral administration to said subject a composition comprising cultures of the probiotic bacteria, Lactobacillus salivarius LS01 deposited as DSM 22775 and Bifidobacterium breve BR03 deposited as DSM 16604 such that the atopic dermatitis in said subject is treated.
