Abstract
The present invention relates to 3-hydroxypropionate dehydrogenase variants. The present invention also relates to polynucleotides encoding the variants; nucleic acid constructs, vectors, and host cells comprising the polynucleotides; and methods of using the variants.
Claims20
A host cell comprising an active 3-HP pathway and a heterologous polynucleotide encoding a 3-HPDH variant having 3-HPDH activity,
- wherein the variant comprises a substitution at one or more positions corresponding to positions 9, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35 and 36 of SEQ ID NO:
- 2;
- and
- wherein the variant has at least 80% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO:
- 2, 4, or 6.
