Abstract
The presently disclosed and claimed inventive concept(s) relates generally to packaging materials for packaging articles. The packaging materials may include a substratum with a printed pattern disposed thereon that provides a grass-like appearance, and/or the packaging materials may include a plurality of individual strips, strands, or units of material bondably connected thereto.
Claims18
A packaging material, comprising:
- a substratum adapted to support and cushion an object;
- and
- a printed pattern disposed on at least a portion of the substratum, the printed pattern comprising a pictorial representation of a plurality of individual strips, strands, or units of material, thereby providing the substratum with a grass-like appearance.
A method of packaging an object, comprising the steps of:
- disposing an object on a packaging material, whereby the packaging material supports and cushions the object, the packaging material comprising a substratum adapted to support and cushion an object and a printed pattern disposed on at least a portion of the substratum, wherein the printed pattern comprises a pictorial representation of a plurality of individual strips, strands, or units of material, thereby providing the substratum with a grass-like appearance.
