Abstract
Included are systems and methods for capturing screen data. At least one embodiment of a method includes receiving an indication of a communications session, wherein the communication session is associated with screen data and determining screen data to capture. Some embodiments include capturing data related to the screen data and uploading the captured data to a remote location.
Claims10
A method for capturing screen data, comprising:
- receiving an indication of a communication session, wherein the indication is provided in response to an action received by a communications device associated with the communication session, wherein the communication session is associated with screen data displayed by the communications device;
- determining data to capture in accordance with an application focus provided by the communications device and whether the data includes sensitive information;
- in response to determining data to capture, capturing at least a portion of the data to a local recording cache on the communications device in an uncompressed format;
- determining if the portion of the data captured to the local recording cache contains video data;
- compressing, after capturing to the local recording cache, the portion of the data that includes data other than video data;
- and
- uploading the portion of the data to a remote location.
