Managing delivery of application server content

A system comprising:

• one or more processor configured to,
• receive a definition of a page layout of a web page, the definition of the page layout defining a first region of the web pane and a second region of the web page;
• receive a definition of a first variant of the web page, the definition of the first variant specifying that an instance of a widget is to be included in the first variant at the first region of the web page;
• and
• receive a definition of a second variant of the web page, the definition of the second variant specifying that the instance of the widget is to be included in the second variant at a second region of the web page;
• publish the first variant of the web page and the second variant of the web page based on receiving an approval from each of a plurality of team members selected for association with the web page, the selecting based on a plurality of roles within an organization to which the plurality of team members are assigned;
• and
• present a comparison of the first variant and the second variant with respect to a performance metric, the performance metric pertaining to an effectiveness of the web page at bringing in revenues.

A non-transitory machine readable medium embodying a set of instructions that, when executed by a processor, causes the processor to perform operations comprising:

• receiving a definition of a page layout of a web page, the definition of the page layout defining a first region of the web page and a second region of the web page;
• receiving a definition of a first variant of the web page, the definition of the first variant specifying that an instance of a widget is to be included in the first variant at the first region of the web page;
• receiving a definition of a second variant of the web page, the definition of the second variant specifying that the instance of the widget is to be included in the second variant at a second region of the web page;
• publishing the first variant of the web page and the second variant of the web page based on receiving an approval from each of a plurality of team members selected for association with the web page, the selecting based on a plurality of roles within an organization to which the plurality of team members are assigned;
• and
• presenting a comparison of the first variant and the second variant with respect to a performance metric, the performance metric pertaining to an effectiveness of the web page at bringing in revenues.
