Content reproduction apparatus and content processing method therefor

A content processing method comprising:

• an inputting step of inputting audio data and video data;
• a video analyzing step of analyzing the quality of the input video data with a video analyzer;
• an audio quality estimating step of estimating, with an audio processor, a sound quality of the input audio data based on the quality of the video data analyzed in the video analyzing step;
• and
• an audio processing step of processing, with the audio processor, the audio data in accordance with an audio processing determined based on the sound quality estimated in the audio quality estimating step,
• wherein, for the video data with a low quality, the audio processing applies intense dynamic range compression (DRC) and slight extension/enhancement of low frequency components;
• wherein, for the video data with an intermediate quality, the audio processing applies intense DRC and slight extension/enhancement of high and low frequency components;
• and
• wherein, for the video data with a high quality, the audio processing applies intermediate or no DRC and intense extension/enhancement of high and low frequency components.
