Abstract
A method for generating and adjusting an image obtained based on computed tomography data using a non-linear blending function is provided. In one embodiment of the method, first image data is obtained using a first X-ray energy, and second image data is obtained using a second X-ray image energy. An image is generated by blending the first and second image data using the non-linear function. The first X-ray energy and the second X-ray energy are different.
Claims25
A method for generating an image based on computed tomography data, the method comprising:
- generating the image by blending first voxels of computed tomography image data associated with a first of a plurality of X-ray energy levels with second voxels of computed tomography image data associated with a second of the plurality of X-ray energy levels, the blending being performed using a non-linear blending function.
An apparatus comprising:
- a processing unit to generate an image by blending first voxels of computed tomography image data associated with a first of a plurality of X-ray energy levels with second voxels of computed tomography image data associated with a second of the plurality of X-ray energy levels, the blending being performed using a non-linear blending function.
