Femtocell one-to-many packet delivery

At least one processor for delivering one-to-many packets from a local access network by a femto node, comprising:

• a first module for providing a cellular air-interface service within a coverage area to an access terminal;
• a second module for receiving a one-to-many packet at the femto node via a local area network;
• and
• a third module for transmitting via the femto node the one-to-many packet to the access terminal over a cellular one-to-many air-interface at a multiple number of control channel cycles.

A computer program product for delivering one-to-many packets from a local access network by a femto node, comprising:

• a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprising:
• a first set of codes for causing a computer to provide a cellular air-interface service within a coverage area to an access terminal;
• a second set of codes for causing the computer to receive a one-to-many packet at the femto node via a local area network;
• and
• a third set of codes for causing the computer to transmit via the femto node the one-to-many packet to the access terminal over a cellular one-to-many air-interface at a multiple number of control channel cycles.

An apparatus for delivering one-to-many packets from a local access network by a femto node, comprising:

• means for providing a cellular air-interface service within a coverage area to an access terminal;
• means for receiving at the femto node a one-to-many packet from a local area network;
• and
• means for transmitting via the femto node the one-to-many packet to the access terminal over a cellular one-to-many air-interface at a multiple number of control channel cycles.

An apparatus for delivering one-to-many packets from a local access network by a femto node, comprising:

• a femto base station for providing a cellular air-interface service within a coverage area to an access terminal;
• a receiver for receiving at the femto node a one-to-many packet from a local area network;
• and
• a transmitter for transmitting via the femto node the one-to-many packet to the access terminal over a cellular one-to-many air-interface at a multiple number of control channel cycles.

A method for receiving one-to-many packets from a local access network via a femto node, comprising:

• accessing, by an access terminal, a cellular air-interface service provided by the femto node within a coverage area;
• receiving a one-to-many packet over a cellular one-to-many air-interface from the femto node at a multiple number of control channel cycles, wherein the one-to-many packet was received by the femto node via a local area network;
• and
• identifying a host that originated the one-to-many packet.

At least one processor for receiving one-to-many packets from a local access network via a femto node, comprising:

• a first module for accessing a cellular air-interface service within a coverage area provided by the femto node by an access terminal;
• a second module for receiving a one-to-many packet at the access terminal over a cellular one-to-many air-interface from the femto node at a multiple number of control channel cycles;
• and
• a third module for identifying a host that originated the one-to-many packet that was received by the femto node via a local area network.

A computer program product for receiving one-to-many packets from a local access network via a femto node, comprising:

• a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprising:
• a first set of codes for causing a computer of an access terminal to access a cellular air-interface service within a coverage area provided by the femto node;
• a second set of codes for causing the computer to receive a one-to-many packet at the access terminal over a cellular one-to-many air-interface from the femto node at a multiple number of control channel cycles;
• and
• a third set of codes for causing the computer to identify a host that originated the one-to-many packet that was received by the femto node via a local area network.

An apparatus for receiving one-to-many packets from a local access network via a femto node, comprising:

• means for accessing a cellular air-interface service within a coverage area provided by the femto node by an access terminal;
• means for receiving a one-to-many packet at the access terminal over a cellular one-to-many air-interface from the femto node at a multiple number of control channel cycles;
• and
• means for identifying a host that originated the one-to-many packet that was received by the femto node via a local area network.

An apparatus for receiving one-to-many packets from a local access network via a femto node, comprising:

• a cellular transceiver at an access terminal accessing a cellular air-interface service within a coverage area provided by the femto node;
• a receiver for receiving a one-to-many packet at the access terminal over a cellular one-to-many air-interface from the femto node at a multiple number of control channel cycles;
• and
• a computing platform for identifying a host that originated the one-to-many packet that was received by the femto node via a local area network.
