Exemplary embodiments provide composite materials used for fixing members that can include silsesquioxane-based particles and/or carbon nanotubes dispersed in a polymer matrix.
Claims13
A composite material comprising:
- a polymer matrix comprising a fluoropolymer;
- a plurality of functionalized silsesquioxane-based particles dispersed in the polymer matrix in an amount such that at least one surface of the composite material comprises one or more structural surface features;
- and
- a plurality of carbon nanotubes dispersed in the polymer matrix so as to facilitate the formation of the one or more structural surface features.
