This invention relates to piperazinedione compounds shown in the specification. These compounds are tyrosine kinase inhibitors and can be used to treat cancer.

A compound of the following formula:
- wherein
- each of R1 and R2 is H or C1-5 alkyl;
- each of Ar1 and Ar2, independently, is aryl or heteroaryl;
- X is methylene, C(O), or C(O)—C1-3 alkylene;
- and
- Y is heterocycloalkyl or heteroaryl.
