Abstract
A series of 6,7-dihydro[1,3]thiazolo[5,4-c]pyridin-4(5H)-one derivatives, which are substituted in the 2-position by a substituted morpholin-4-yl moiety, being selective inhibitors of PI3 kinase enzymes, are accordingly of benefit in medicine, for example in the treatment of inflammatory, autoimmune, cardiovascular, neurodegenerative, metabolic, oncological, nociceptive or ophthalmic conditions.
Claims6
A method for the treatment of an oncological condition for which the administration of a selective PI3K inhibitor is indicated which comprises administering to a patient in need of such treatment an effective amount of 3-{[(3S)-4-(6,6-dimethyl-4-oxo-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro[1,3]thiazolo[5,4-c]pyridin-2-yl)morpholin-3-yl]methyl}-N,N,1-trimethyl-1H-indole-5-carboxamide, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
